Microsoft: Mobile Secret will be released

Microsoft will announce a mobile phone "Pink Project" which has been long awaited. The phone is released next week to get attention in the market of young users who are developing the smart phone.

Phones that are planned to be sold by top U.S. operator Verizon Wireless is targeted for heavy buff social networking site. The operator will give a different name when it was officially announced.

In the photos that leaked on a technology blog last month, the phone is very stylish and updates from Microsoft's Sidekick devices are very popular among young people.

The new phone will not be present on the market until next summer is also made by the Sidekick maker, Sharp Corp..

Microsoft also has sent invitations to the media to attend an event in San Francisco next Monday, but refused to comment further.

A representative from Verizon Wireless, a joint venture between Verizon Communications Inc. with Vodafone Group plc, also declined comment.

The phone is not a central part of Microsoft's main effort in the mobile phone market, which focuses on software updates in the form of licenses to handset manufacturers and will be available end of 2010.
